Terms & Conditions 

Prices Includes:
  • Insurance up to Final Delivery to Client
  • All applicable Hygiene Certification, related background paperwork etc. – including Original Documentation sent via Air Courier prior to delivery.
  • Master Box with Plastic Liner & Exterior Labels
  • Pallets and Pallet Wrap
  • Temperature monitoring up to Final Delivery to Client
  • Storage of finished product up to agreed collection / dispatch date.
  • South African National Halaal Authority (SANHA) Halaal Certification – “SANHA is South Africa’s leading halaal certification authority, recognized for its stringent standards and commitment to Islamic dietary laws (Shari’ah). Headquartered in South Africa, it serves as a trusted body for certifying food, beverages, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals, ensuring compliance with halaal requirements. Its certification process involves rigorous audits of ingredients, manufacturing processes, and hygiene standards, supported by a team of Islamic scholars and trained inspectors.”
  • Orthodox Union (OU) Kosher Certification – “The OU is arguably the largest and most widely recognized kosher certification agency in the world, headquartered in the United States. It oversees thousands of products and is known for its rigorous standards, backed by a large team of rabbinic authorities. Its symbol (a “U” inside a circle) is a gold standard for kosher certification, trusted by Orthodox Jews globally and often accepted across denominations. The OU reach extends internationally, certifying major food brands, making it a dominant force in the kosher industry.”
  • Kosher SA (UOS) – “Kosher SA is South Africa’s primary kosher certification authority, operating under the Union of Orthodox Synagogues (UOS). It’s known for its rigorous standards and serves as the central kashrut body in the region. Highly trusted locally, with a strong presence in South African Jewish communities.”
Prices Exclude:

  • Client storage fees, post collection date.

  • Sovereign Fish Exports will assist Client in the Design and Legal Conformity of Retail Packaging
  • Sovereign Fish Exports can assist with Printing of Packaging
  • Additional Kosher Hechsher Certification – Sovereign Fish Export has worked with various Hechshers, including –
  • Pricing may be adjusted in accordance with notable increases to input cost.
  • Retail Packaging, as provided by Client, can be stored at Sovereign Fish Exports free of charge.
Production Specification:
  • Standard 40ft Container Configuration is 20 Pallets.
  • Standard Pallet Configuration is 120 Retail Product Master Boxes per pallet or 224 Bulk Master boxes per pallet.
  • Payment Terms: 50% Deposit on Order; 50% on receipt of Shipping Lading Bill.
  • Standard Production Cycle is: (Cycle time is often faster)
  • Official Purchase Order Issued by Client
  • Sovereign Fish Export sends Client Pro-Forma Invoice Indicating required Deposit.
  • Sovereign Fish Exports receives deposit
  • 2 Weeks allocated to secure additional input product etc. for the order.
  • 1 Week Allocated for Production
  • ONLY APPLICABLE TO European Union (EU) & Isreal orders: 2 Weeks allocated for Health Certificate Clearance from NRCS
  • 1 Week Allocated to Load on Vessel / Stacking
